i was wondering if anyone know of any place online or a store near the d.c. area that sells the holder piece for a pen set. i am making a desk set and need just the piece that holds the pen to mount to my handmade plaques. i am looking for something 1/2 way cheap as well. i have looked at all the office type stores. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I am trying to set up my desk different because it doesn't "feel" right. It's uncomfortable. Maybe I don't have the monitor and keyboard in the right positions? I don't know. Is your keyboard right in front of your monitor or to the side? Which side is it on? Does it matter? Should I look up or down at the monitor or should it be eye level? Lighting??

It seems like every two or three years a news station, the local ones here in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, change new sets every two or three years or so. New anchor desk, new news set design, new weather center, etc. Do news stations feel like they need to update their sets to attract more viewers?

what are some tips on how i can have my desk set up at work so that i'm not reaching all over the place for my mouse, phone, keyboard, etc. My desk is rather small and space is limited but I end up with aches and pains at the end of the day that I think can be avoided if I was sitting and set up properly.

All of the stores and online sources that I contacted didn't know where I could do this (bedroom sets don't usually come with matching desks and chairs). Any suggestions?

I've got most of the stuff I need (a mixer, a condenser mic, a midi keyboard, etc...), but my old desk is so messy and every time I use my stuff, I have to put it all back away into a cabinet. I want a desk or something I can set everything up on. The only catch is I want something compact cause I live in a small apartment. Thanks.

I have a maroon desk set - stapler, tape dispenser, letter trays (2), bookends, paper clip dispenser, desk pad, etc. After 18+ years it looks "used." Any suggestions on what I can use to make it look better? Cleaning products? Polishing products? All help will be appreciated.

I have a convertible and the leather wrapping on the rear headrests have shrunken a little bit, exposing the white plastic beneath. They were like this when I bought the car and it looks terrible (it's got to be from the over exposure to direct sunlight along with the owner not treating the leather). What is the best way to stretch them back so they cover the headrest? I am thinking some sort of pliers after I "treat" the leather or something but I have no idea. I am about to sell the car and want to do it myself. Thanks for any help/ideas.

Can I use regular leather shoe protector on my new leather jacket? I need to protect it from the rain etc and I can't seem to find any protector specifically for leather clothing in the stores, Thanks! I bought a fiber optic light skull and the directions are not very helpful. It says to attach it to the light source but how? There's suction cups and a wire where the light comes out, but where on the light source does that wire go? Can someone please explain?

I am not sure whether I should try to get a patend for my ideas or get a copyright for them. These are ideas that I have drawn on paper and would like to eventually present them to different companies and get them manufactured. I purchased an accessory that plugs into my car cigarette lighter and into my ipod and allows me to listen to the ipod music through my car radio. It's wireless and I have to set an appropriate station to listen to it. It works on one setting in Toronto but when I drive out of town I get garbled results. Does anyone know of a way to find the correct setting for different locations? Thanks a lot.

The orion xt-8 comes with a 'tool' used to help direct where you want the telescope to view.. I am not sure how to set it up, or even turn it on. Yes I have removed the piece of material blocking the battery from the device.. Any tips/suggestions.. Any tips on when would be the best time to view the Sun? Calendar wise.
