How can I organize my desk at home? I want to be able to find all my things, and what is a good layo
The desk is 1m 30cm, by 74cm and is wodden. On it I have a CD Player, a tin of pencils, a magazine holder, a lamp, a pile of library books, a pen holder, stickytape holder, a cd holder, a lava lamp, and sheets of paper (homework) all over it. What is a cool way to set it up and organize all my things. Thanks!

1] any drawers? put desk supplies you don't use everyday [ paper, folders, markers, clips, etc. ] in drawers
2] Desk is for work - not recreation area! Get library books, cd holder, lave lamp and magazine holder off desk and on shelves! Could put reference books and finished reports there too.[ Put a reading chair on other side for pleasure reading/relaxing.]
3] a set of in/out trays would be good for completed assignments. Place in folders in out tray, then put in backpack/bag
4] add pens, scissors, stapler to pencil holder
5] I also have a clock on my desk or nearby so I can keep track of time.
you can get good ideas from www.potterybarn.com they show you how to decorate
