My cat had kittens and they just went in the box they were born in (we had newspaper on the bottom that we changed regularly) until their mom brought them out to the litter box and taught them what to do.

When they are real small the mother cat will lick it up. (Yuck) If she is trained to use a box she will often train them to use one. Have a clean one available for her and she will probably begin teaching them to use it.

depends on how old the kitten is if it is a new born kitten the mother cat will eat its leavings but if its older than yes it needs a litter box

Yes kittens poop in litter boxes. just remember to show them were the litter box is located so they now were they are expected to pee and poo. May take a couple of reminders but they will get it.

idk why you would want them top poop in a letter tray...when you could use a litter box and you wouldn't have to scoop it nearly as much because it is bigger! hahahahaha plus they would pee on you mail!!!

YES. If you don't get them a litter box, they will pee and poop wherever they please. Once their old enough to go outside on their own, they wont need the box anymore.
