Dog question?
My aunt bought our puppy a crocodile embossed leather dog collar with Swarovski diamond cross-cut stones. Problem is, she tries to take it off when she sits on the Davenport. Should we have used the one with soft calf leather and rhinestone bones and buckle instead?

Perhapse she prefers calf over crocodide, give it a try. Who knows, maybe she doesn't dig the diamonds.
It sounds as if the collar is either too stiff or too heavy for the dog. It may take her some time to get used to it.
I personally wouldn't buy that expensive of a collar, but something softer might be more comfortable?
I bought our dog a 6 inch wide cow hide collar with razor blades set into it.
It doesn't look expensive, but he certainly gets noticed
No matter what type of collar you put on a puppy, they are going to mess with it until they get used to it!
Sounds like you aunt has way too much money on her hands. If she wants she can come buy my dogs some expensive stuff like that.

Anyway seriously she probably just needs to get used to it.

If she doesn't get used to it in a few days than I would buy a regular nylon collar with a metal buckle or a harness.

lol you are so full of it... let the dog go roll in some horse crap before you let her on the "davenport" that should take care of things.
